Welcome

Partners Medical Massage is a branch of the Camillus Massage family. At Partners, our mission is to team with other medical professionals in their offices to provide massage services as a complement to the care they offer their patients. We have recently opened the first of these offices at Achieve Physical Therapy Aquatic Center in Western Lights in Syracuse, NY. It is important to note that you do not need to be a patient of Achieve to be a client of Partners Massage.

About Us

Partners Medical Massage, like its parent office at Camillus Massage, stands apart from most massage offices in that it puts the focus on physical well-being above aesthetic appeal or shared services. We are not a wellness center looking to coerce you into several varied holistic services, nor are we a spa or salon in which beauty comes before pain management or athletic performance. People come to Partners Medical Massage to feel better, physically and emotionally.

Our Team

Opened and operated by Christopher Hess, LMT, Partners Medical Massage features Licensed Massage Therapists with a talent for pain management and a focused therapeutic approach to massage. For those clients with emotional or spiritual needs beyond massage, we also offer reiki sessions on site. We use an integrated approach to address the individual needs of our clients. Whether you have been injured in a car accident, suffer from chronic migraines, or are an aspiring triathlete, we will design a treatment plan, and/or work with your medical professional to suit your specific needs.

Rebecca Meyers

Licensed Massage Therapist

Rebecca graduated from The Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2015. She has a passion for nature and astrology and carries herself with a calmness and manner beyond her years. She is deceptively strong and can deliver a very deep and pointed massage. She has an intuitive approach to deep tissue massage and can find almost any elusive trigger point or adhesion.

Scott Warner

Licensed Massage Therapist

Scott is a December 2015 Graduate of The Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. He brings a strong knowledge of the body, a firm pressure, and a disarming wit to the treatment room. He is skilled at recognizing trouble areas and using a varied approach of techniques to address those issues.

Genevieve Alberts

Licensed Massage Therapist

Genevieve is a recent graduate of The Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. Along with her passion for healing, she is a personal trainer, former body builder, and kickboxing instructor. She brings an athlete's approach to massage, but hasn't lost that ability to provide a deeply relaxing massage

Services & Prices

At Partners Medical Massage, our goal is to provide those services our clients need to feel better without diluting the process with unneeded frill. In our office, you should expect to receive a massage of exceptional quality. You should not expect to find hot stones, paraffin dip, microderm abrasion or other facial services. Our goal is to work the issues that ail you. Nothing more, nothing less. We also do not scale the cost of our services. In other words, a swedish massage has the same cost as an orthopedic massage. It makes no difference whether you are coming for stress reduction or athletic recovery, our goal is to satisfy your needs, not gouge you for providing deeper work. You will find our rates are slightly lower than the industry standard. There is a good reason for that. By eliminating a traditional receptionist, we allow your therapist to walk you through the whole process of your visit, from arrival to farewell. In this manner, we save money, and are able to pass the savings on to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below is just some of the questions we get asked on a regular basis. If your question is not listed here, feel free to give us a call or email us.

Do you take insurance?

The quick answer is no. While some premier insurance policies do offer a rider for massage therapy, their rules for payment make it impossible for us to bill. We can, however, provide you detailed notes and a statement of charges so you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Can I pay with my FSA or HSA?

If you have a Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account, you can use that to pay for your massage services at Camillus Massage and Inside Edge Sports Massage if you have your debit card with you. If you do not have a card, we can provide you a detailed billing statement to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.

Do you offer any salon or spa services?

No. At Camillus Massage and Inside Edge, we provide high quality, professional body work. We do not offer facials, hot stones, waxing, or any other associated services. We do not mean to diminish the value of those services to people seeking them, we are simply not in that business.

Do you accept walk in clients?

Generally, no. In a very rare instance, a therapist may be at the office and not with a client. For example, if a client was a no show, or if there was a small gap between clients. We do not employ a receptionist, which makes greeting walk-ins impossible. We can, however, very often provide same day appoints. Check our schedule page to see what is available.

Do you offer on-site or in-home massage services?

We can provide travel services to clients in select situations. Each request is subject to authorization by the owner. In the event of it being authorized, there is a $25 travel charge added to the cost of the massage.

Do you offer packages?

Absolutely. Packages are available for massages of 60 min or longer and are a Buy Five, Get One Free. There are some times, generally around holidays, when we offer different short term options. Be sure to follow us on social media to be aware of these specials.
